About Apollonia's Pizzeria
Pizzeria
Located at 5176 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, Apollonia's Pizzeria operates as a pizza restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 12β2:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (323) 937-2823. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, apolloniaspizzeria.com.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 920 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iβm a NYorker visiting LA. Very good pizza but plain cheese is good not great. Other slices were better than good. Service was fine, no rush when I was there but they move at LA speed, not a NY slice shop churning out pizza. Thereβs no atmosphereβ¦just enough counter space to stand and eat. Overall worth a visit. Oh and everything is way overpriced! :) so donβt go if that will annoy you. Suggestion to shop, have the plain slice at least at a reasonable price.

Excellent pies. It's a small place, to go is your option here and if you want more than just a slice ordering ahead online is your friend. My pick up took 3ish minutes despite a line out the door - there's a separate online order line near the jukebox just inside. For a place that was slammed the two guys swapping in and out at the expo station were super friendly and helpful.

Tried Apolloniaβs Pizzeria recently and overall it was a good experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. I ordered the Acapulco Gold square pizza, it was alright, just not what I was thinking it would be. Itβs pretty much bread with cheese on it and a bunch of arugula :) Not bad, just different from what I expected. Iβm definitely going to give them another chance and try a normal, traditional slice next time. Iβve heard great things, so Iβm looking forward to it!

I had an amazing experience at Apollonia Pizza! The atmosphere is really welcoming and has a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I tried the vodka square pizza, which I believe is Chicago-style, and it was absolutely delicious. I also had a triangle pie with pepperoni and pickled jalapenos, and that was equally amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Best single slice of pizza Iβve had in LA in some time! Favorite was the thin slice. Wasnβt a huge fan of the square, but I think itβs just personal preference. We also tried the whole Wilshire Margherita which has chicken sausage. It was good, but wasnβt as good as the classic slice. Something about the cheese and sauce that was different, but the crispy crust carryβs all the slices. Service was fast and friendly. Thankfully no lines, so the wait was short to heat up the slices (about 5-10 mins) and while pie (about 20 mins). Cash only and parking was tight but we got lucky. Happy I finally got to try this place. Will compare all others to Appoloniaβs now :)
